Obedience Sessions
Sessions held in our secure paddock and within your local area. Lasting approximately an hour and a half*. It is best to have all adults around for the session so everyone can use the same training methods.
Obedience training sessions can include:
Recall.
Basic obedience and cues.
Loose lead.
Playing with your dog.
Improving the bond between you and your dog.
Tricks.
Settle and mat training.
Whistle training.
Further/Advanced training.
Whether you are having problems with obedience or just want to further your dog’s training, mental stimulation or learning, these sessions can assist you. The obedience training sessions provide you with one to one training or just with new ideas for training, tricks and games to use with your dog.
The sessions are moulded to your requirements, helping you to get the most out of your dog.
Training techniques and exercises will vary for each dog and their requirements. The breed, age and environment are only a few variations which can affect training and the speed of learning for each dog.
Every dog has different motivators and ways of learning. Training is not a ‘quick fix’ task; it takes time and effort from all involved. Dogs can undergo behavioural training at any age but training takes patience, persistency and consistency.
It is important to remember that different breeds make training progress at different speeds, it doesn’t matter how long your dog takes to learn, the important thing is that he/she does learn! We provide positive, calm and enjoyable training for you and your dog using force – free methods.
