Training sessions and classes should be enjoyable for your dog and for you as the handler. Doggiedodoggiedon’t uses positive reinforcement to increase the bond between you and your dog whilst diminishing unwanted behaviours. Training is taken at a pace to suit each dog’s individual requirements.
Each dog is different and learns at a different pace, it is important to remember that. We provide relaxed, calm environments, which make for better learning for both dogs and owners.
Positive training methods may take longer in some aspects than other training types but your dog will learn properly and without quick fixes. Positive methods in training are based on proven scientific evidence. Training classes are held at Woughton on the Green (Milton Keynes) and Yardley Hastings (Nr Olney).

Helen's knowledge is outstanding, and the wisdom she imparts is invaluable.....you couldn't get a better dog trainer / behaviourist!. She understands what challenges both dog and human are going through. Classes are engaging and reward based, fun too! They are small groups where Helen gives individual advice and moves you on to different activities at the pace of your dog. We have got so much out of this - only done level 1 & 2 so far but will definitely be doing level 3 when my boy is ready. 1:1s give focus on particular areas of behaviour that are specific to your dog and would thoroughly recommend them. I've learnt so much and my boy is coming along fantastically well. You get pre-warning of things to expect in the behaviour of dogs as the they go from puppy to adolescence to adult. Helen has huge empathy and works with you every step of the way.
Recently Helen did a How dogs learn seminar which I have to say was superb, so insightful! I would highly recommend attending.
I'll be watching out for any future seminars that Helen puts on.
Puppy socialisation is in a controlled environment so that puppies aren't overwhelmed and teaches you and your dog to be calm around other dogs and how to engage with positive behaviour.

Being a dog groomer, I have met many dog 'trainers' over the years and none of them compare to Helen. She is always going the extra mile to accommodate me and my pooches and makes everything fun, understandable, interesting and affordable. She is passionate about her job and it really shows. We’ve just finished level one puppy classes with Helen and it has been amazing! My brain has been on fire trying to absorb all the wisdom from Helen and Stewart! Herbie has loved it and already has improved so much in his foundation skills!
We’ve loved training him and looking forward to our level 2 training classes starting next month! And attending as many seminars as humanly possible! Helen tackles huge issues early to ensure your dog can behave at the vets, around dogs etc! She even talks about resource guarding and how to help prevent it before it happens!
Helen and Stu are warm and understanding, willing to answer questions no matter how silly they seem. I understand Herbie better and hopefully he understands me better too!
